Selectable time delay for video input

Post by ChrisCotton »

LOVE the product!
Noticed the other day we were passing a webcam thru to the pixel screens, since we can delay our audio with scads of devices, how cool it would be to be able to have a fader that would delay the video for sync. We hope to use these displays in the audience, and even one fader on the input would be excellent, although TWO would be awesome! Able to have two webcam inputs.... Makes an already awesome product THAT much more

Hello ChrisCotton,
.
Can you please explain this feature wish a bit more?
What do you want to sync and in which effect do you want to have this fader? "SCE Screen Capture" or "SCE Video"?
Thank you.

Thanks. Using the SCE Video engine, and for any video input for that matter, to be able to actively delay the material as it displays. being able to select a delay as it shows on the fixtures allows syncing of displays when viewed from distances. The sound of a played clip will travel generally slower and will tend to be out of sync with the same file's video, when viewed at a distance 100' or more.
We are bringing two sources into our Madrix machine and having a selectable delay for just the video feed would be a very useful feature.
