Converting Storage Places from Madrix 5 -> 3

Hi folks,
Anyone know a way to convert pieces of a file (just storage places) from Madrix 5 to Madrix 3? I’m offsite programming with my 5 license but the client is still on 3 and can’t upgrade (most of the show was programmed 5 years ago, adding pieces now). I’d love to not be staring at the giant X in my previews while I’m working but I can’t seem to figure out how to get even simple storage places created in 5 to open in 3. Thanks for any help!
