Splitting up a show to run on multiple Plexus

Post by cinetron »

Hi . I am working on a 4 universe installation and want to use a stand alone controller. I am looking into the possibility of using 2 Plexus units. If I design the show in Madrix is there a feature that will split my show in 2 so I can easily use 2 Plexus for this or do I need to manually design the show for 2 separate units? Do you have a tutorial on how to design a show using multiple units? I know I can set up a Master Slave scenario but want a hassle free way to split the show for the 2 devices.
Thanks

Hi cinetron,

welcome to the MADRIX Forum and sorry for the late reply.
.
If you set up a show in MADRIX where you patch the fixtures for 4 unsiveres you can create the necessary files for your two PLEXUS devices at one time.
.
Please follow this instruction:
http://help.madrix.com/m3/html/plexus/index.html
.
During the conversion MADRIX will use the current patch and create all necessary dxd files you need for aour two PLEXUS devices.
LEDs are nothing without control ;-)
